Like many people, I like to indulge in takeaway food, such as Chinese food, when the opportunity arises.
Cooking at home can be tiring. Chinese restaurant menu is bad for your health. because fried foods are high in fat and too much sodium
Most of the traditional Chinese foods are quite good for your health. But Chinese restaurants in the US tend to serve fried food and unhealthy food.
Although it’s okay to eat this once in a while. But your body can suffer some serious consequences if eaten too often.
So next time you look at the Chinese restaurant menu in a Chinese restaurant. Keep in mind these unhealthy Chinese foods too.

General Tso’s Chicken
General Tso’s Chicken is one of my favorite dishes. But it is quite unhealthy due to the breaded chicken and sugar sauce to go with it.
General Tso’s Chicken has 87.7 grams of fat, which is not good for your heart.
There are also 62.1 grams of sugar and your body should only get up to 50 grams per day.
Fried rice is another delicious dish on most Chinese menus that I love. But it does add extra calories and carbohydrates to your diet.
One cup of restaurant fried rice typically contains 43.2 grams of carbohydrates.
Although there will be some protein if you add meat or tofu. But it’s still not good for health.
Lo mein is another dish that adds unnecessary calories and carbohydrates to your meal.
The noodles used to make this dish usually contain white flour. with almost no nutrients at all

It is better to choose noodles made from wheat.
BBQ pork ribs
However, grilled pork chops are a bit better for you with about 17 grams of protein per serving. But it has a lot of sugar and fat.
This meat is usually taken from the belly of the pig, where the most fat is.
Fat is bad for your arteries and heart health. This makes grilled pork chops an unhealthy Chinese dish.
The grilled crab shrimp might not look too bad as the dumplings tend to be quite small. But it’s still fried and contains a lot of fat.
One crustacean can have about 67 calories and 4.7 grams of fat.
If you have too much fat in your diet, it can lead to weight gain and heart disease.
Many Chinese egg rolls are filled with vegetables and meat. Make you think they might not be good for your health.
However, they are quite low in fat. And much of it has to do with them being fried.
Fried foods can lead to type 2 diabetes, heart disease and reduced life expectancy if you eat them too often.
I love dumplings and they always go for me.
Pork in dumplings is not much of a problem. But the dumpling shell itself can be a problem.
One dumpling has about 13 grams of protein, but also 13 grams of carbohydrates and 6 grams of fat.
Fat frying is not the best for your heart. Enjoy them every now and then But remember that they are not a healthy choice.
sweet and sour chicken
Although 1 plate of sweet and sour chicken contains a lot of protein. But the added sauce adds 19 grams of sugar to the body.
That’s 38% of your daily recommended sugar intake. Too much sugar in your diet can lead to the following:

Sodium is still high at 820 milligrams.
