Talk about good food. Jalapeno Mac & Cheese Bacon offers a multitude of delicious flavors: rich, firm and spicy. Fresh jalapenos add a tangy flavor that goes well with bacon. Do not use canned jalapenos here. The brightness of fresh jalapenos is the perfect food foil for savory bacon. And everything went smoothly with lots of cheese.

Consider this recipe’s overall spices instead, reduce the amount of jalapeño peppers used. Two to three jalapenos still work. Or if you’re ready to play with fire a little harder. Add bacon, jalapenos, and cheese by substituting Serrano peppers. They give a firm heat bump. (Double Heat) is for those who like more heat with equally bright and fresh taste.
