Basic Habanero Hot Sauce Recipe

- 5 Habanero peppers, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 1 yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon water
Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the chopped carrots for five minutes.
Add garlic and onion to carrots. Then stir until vegetables are soft (about 5 minutes).
Put the sautéed vegetables in a food processor. Followed by water and Habanero peppers. Mix ingredients until smooth.
Add lemon juice and vinegar. Mix two or three times to combine.
Pour the sauce back into the pan over low heat. Let the sauce simmer for five minutes.
Remove the sauce from the heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature.
