With jalapeño peppers cut onion halves and tomato juice in a blender Blend ingredients until almost thickened. Remove from blender.
Add the tomatoes, black pepper, salt, cumin, garlic cloves, onion powder, and garlic powder. Put the remaining onion in the blender, grind up to 4 times until the tomatoes are crushed.
Add the two ingredients together and stir.
Add chopped coriander to taste. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Can be used immediately or for best taste. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
You can choose more or less puree depending on the thickness of the salsa base you want. If you prefer more meaty salsa, choose a food processor instead of a blender. The longer you refract, the denser your salsa will be. Plus, the spices will have more time to mix.
