Simple can look delicious. or maybe It’s “anything wrapped in prosciutto” that makes the chili and figs in this prosciutto so delicious. Chili and figs in prosciutto dip, ready to serve.

As for the red peppers for your chili and figs in prosciutto, it’s the dealer’s choice. But I would recommend the Serrano red pepper, or if you want something spicier, the cayenne pepper. Both bite more than jalapenos. But not to the point of being particularly hot. That said, red jalapeños also work well and are the kind of heat most people can tolerate. Both serranos and jalapenos will also produce bright flavors.

You can add a bit of color by picking up a red Habanero or a Scottish cap here. But get ready, these super hot peppers have real benefits. It might not be an appetizer for the masses, but if you (and your friends) crave heat, have fun! Plus, both peppers add a fruity sweetness to the taste.

The chili and figs in prosciutto are an instant starter. We use fresh figs here. So it will get wet if cooled and reheated. Since this recipe makes 8 rolls of prosciutto, the dishes are easy to clean.
