  • 20 Brussels sprouts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chipotle powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 slices cooked bacon, cut into cubes of your choice
  • Squeeze the cayenne to add heat to the smoky chipotle.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Then cover baking sheet with aluminum foil.

  • Trim off the ends of the Brussels sprouts, then cut them in half.

  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, chipotle powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne powder (optional). Stir well to evenly distribute the spices in the oil.

  • Put the bean sprouts in the bowl. Mix with seasoning oil to coat the bean sprouts.

  • Spread the Brussels sprouts evenly on a baking tray lined with foil. Then place the baking tray in the oven.

  • Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until bean sprouts are tender and edges are lightly browned.

  • Place bean sprouts in a serving bowl. Garnish with shredded bacon. (Optional) and serve.
