  • 12 ounces cranberries
  • 2 cups dark sweet cherries, frozen, pitted
  • 3 citrus fruits
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chipotle chips from chipotle in adobo sauce, finely chopped
  • Place cranberries and cherries in the slow cooker.

  • Cut an orange and squeeze the juice in the slow cooker. Then remove the meat from the orange peel and put it in the slow cooker.

  • Heat the water in the microwave, then pour the sugar and chopped peppers into the slow cooker. Stir the ingredients together.

  • Turn the slow cooker to low, cover, and cook the mixture for 4 hours.

  • Turn off the heat and let the cranberry sauce cool to room temperature and serve, or chill the cranberry sauce to thicken before serving.
