Whether it’s BBQ time in the summer or you’re ready for some heat during the colder months. Jalapeño Burger transforms a beloved basic burger into something fiery and spicy. This recipe is so simple that even a young baker can make it without much effort.
This recipe uses 6 jalapeño peppers, 4 of which are finely chopped for burgers and the other 2 for extra heat. If that sounds too spicy to you? You can increase or decrease the amount of chopped chili and add it to the cake.
Of course, if it’s not spicy enough. Let’s put those rings on the burger. (As much as you like) or increase your spiciness by opting for serrano peppers instead. They have a bright grassy flavor. (Good for burgers) but with a significant increase in spiciness (10,000 to 23,000 Scoville heat units versus jalapeno at 2,500 to 8,000 SHU).
We leave the choice of seasoning to you. We season with chili powder. But you can try dill. Cajun seasoning or smoked paprika, and of course, cheese is optional. (But very tasty!)
