- 3 Habanero peppers, seeded and sliced
- 3 cups sugar
- Lemon slices for serving can choose
Cut a lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a bowl. Set the bowl aside.
Pour 2 cups of water into the pot and add the sugar. Bring the pot to a boil and reduce the heat until it boils.
Add the Habanero peppers to the sugar water and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Lift the pot off the stove. Then remove the Habanero slices from the water.
Pour the rest of the water into a large pitcher. Then add sugar and lemon juice, stir well.
Place the jar in the refrigerator and let the lemon juice cool for at least 30 minutes to an hour.
