The formula is very simple. Look at Texas caviar and think why it’s so complicated. After all, Texas caviar only grinds nine ingredients. Chop and stir well. But never mind it…

There is a zipper of jalapenos. the earthy taste of black beans and the sweetness of corn. And that’s just one step of the taste. Add fragrant tomatoes, fresh cilantro and pungent white onions and you have a great taste!

Texas caviar is just the loosest word since all the ingredients are simply chopped—think chunky salsa without the liquid. Just a little olive oil is needed for a very mild olive flavor. (Foil is perfect for cilantro flavor) and chewy shine. plus lemon juice (optional) for orange flavor

For party and game day situations, the recipe can be doubled. (or triple) is enough for the whole crowd. Perfect with tortillas, pita or cookies. If you want a bit more spiciness, consider using 1-2 serrano peppers instead of the jalapenos. Serrano peppers have the same bright, grassy flavor. But it usually doubles the heat. (and sometimes more)
