Talk about bringing a smile. Anyway, fresh mashed potatoes are hard to come by on the table. But when you cook popper style. It will turn into take away mashed potatoes! This jalapeño popper mashed potato recipe brings to the table everything you love about jalapeño poppers: fresh jalapeños, cream cheese, and bacon are all here. It will be my favorite party.

Jalapeno peppers are the sole source of heat here (very little heat comes out of the chili powder mix, actually), so if there’s a concern about the overall spiciness of the jalapeno mashed potatoes, go for it. You will need to reduce the amount of chili you use. Similarly, if you want something spicier, you can add jalapeno peppers. Also, throw in a cayenne pepper or two when you use cayenne pepper.
