Who doesn’t love the classic pumpkin pie flavor? With flavorful nutmeg and cloves, it packs a punch. But do you know what we think we’ve missed? Of course… a bit hot.

Enter our Spicy Pumpkin Pie. Chili and pumpkin go well together. It’s a very tasty combination of sweet earth and heat. We use cayenne pepper here because it has a neutral flavor. (apart from the spiciness) so it brings out the traditional spice.

We use half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in the recipe. Add the necessary seasoning to the cake. But feel free to adjust the amount used to your liking. If you’re looking for warmth, just 1/4 teaspoon is enough.
