Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Beat the eggs and (separately) mash the bananas. Then set them aside.
In a large bowl, combine flour, chili powder, cayenne, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
in a separate glass bowl Melt some butter (until blended), then brown sugar. Stir well and add mashed bananas and eggs.
Pour the mashed banana mixture into the chutney and stir well.
Grease the baking tray and pour the batter on top. Bake for 1 hour.
Remove the banana bread from the oven and let it cool for 15 to 30 minutes before removing.
Serve warm or deflate for storage.
For nut bread, add 1/2 cup of ground walnuts to the chutney.
